J.S. Picture Poem

Bang Bang goes the golden gong
Singing out in golden song
Bringing peace and serenity
silent love and amenity

But what is love and peace and land
where people lie with golden tans
That bring out the amazing light in there eye
nobody there would think to lie

Quite as a mouse on a carpet of wool
No loud noises, or the chatter of the angry bull
In this world it's surface smiles
feeling the warmth stretching across the miles

This paradise is worth a million to me
I love sitting under the birch bark trees
But of course to many this place is new
They think that it was impossible and would not do

I think of this sanctuary a million times a day
hoping the peace will come my way
blossoms blooming in the beds, beauty in all
Caw goes the eagle but he will never fall

So when you see heaven in a young girls face
you know she has rested in this perfect place
of wonder.
