The world is a hard place
And sometimes you just need to cry

So you sit alone in the corner

Hoping that nobody walks by
You know tomorrow is Monday
And yesterday is gone
You want it to be over
So you can carry on
The bright light shining darkness
And the cold is making you uneasy

So you put on your happiest smile

It's been an hour in a moment
Some things never change
And you smile
Cause the trouble makes you happy
And the tears just make you laugh
Hide behind the shadows

And put tomorrow in the past
It all goes round in circles
But you don’t know what is coming

You may want to quit and hide

But you've come so far this week

The akward kind of silence

Is there where ever you go

You don't know what to do

So you just hold your head up high

You know that you've cried your last tears

So just sit there and laugh

And you smile
