Where The Sidewalk Ends Animation

What is Shel Silverstein saying in this poem? What programs could you use to provide the background to a poem that you liked?

Jabberwocky Comment by M.S.

I like the poem Jabberwocky because of the way the words sound when you read the poem out loud. The poem paints an image of a strange, mythical creature with  "jaws that bite" and claws "that catch!".  The use of the word "beware" suggests that some of the creatures - the Jubjub bird, and the Bandersnatch, are creatures to be feared, along with the Jabberwock.  "Slithy toves" sounds like something descriptive, but I'm not sure what, perhaps talons.  The image I picked is unusual like I think the Jabberwock would be.

18 Broken Dreams by William Wordsworth

Jabberwocky

Listen to the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll (1832-1898).  It is the third poem to the right in the video bar.  What famous books did Lewis Carrol write.  How does the poem remind you of his books?  Find an image which come to mind when you listen to the poem.  Post the pictures with a reason as to why they remind you of the poem.
