The Jabberwocky bt A.W.

 In my opinion a "Jabberwocky," is a small dragon-like figure that may sneak up on prey, big or small, and jump up to their neck and bite them, like in the poem "jaws that bite," it would make sense, but the small jabberwock would poison their prey, maybe the jabberwock would be magical and could take the form of the thing that they killed until they desire a new form.
